As you can see by reading  the above link , there are many dynamics and factors  involved  in child sexual abuse .

Though they may be somewhat universal  in some areas ( depression , substance abuse , problematic relationships across the board this does not mean  that  every person affected will experience the same things and many  will have different levels of being  affected by the abuse 

The subject  of child sexual abuse  or child molestation is not a subject that many in our society are very comfortable in talking about . Some of this may be due to the cultural  factors  that someone comes out of  .For example : In a certain belief system ,often seen in middle eastern cultures, sexual activity of any kind may shame the woman's family .Even the slightest  inference of any 'sexual inappropriateness' ( eg a  rape or  hinted pregnancy ) the family may use violence, threats, and even death  to stop the name of the family from any shame the women is perceived to have caused.

Statistics are alarming..One out of every four women are sexually abused as children and one out six men are .

 Even if the perpetrator is deceased it may not be easy  for the person who was violated to try and get some help 

because they may feel like the event(s) that happened are still unsolvable, and flashbacks and resentment  may still be there

Sexual abuse  is not a topic  that many people are publicly  willing to discuss and there are many reasons  for this .
For many people there is the stimgma of  wondering or fearing what others will think of them .  'It was my  fault ' . '' I  should not have  been where I was  or  doing what I was doing  and therefore  it  was my fault ''.
Children  can never  consent to  sex and therefore  sexual abuse is  a  crime and should always be reported .

In fact , at any age,  no one should be trapped  or stay  in this mode  of self blame ; it  never  gets  the gut level emotions resolved .
The rational mind  will  hopefully speak to you   and say '' It was never  my fault and I did  not do anything to bring   the event(s)  that happened to me upon myself ''...Eventually --  you will get to the  point where  you  can go on , get your grief  out  and truly  live again .It is  possible .

When a woman , man , girl or boy  is raped  it is a  crime of  power, humiliation , manipulation and it is a violent expression of anger  on the part  of  the  perpetrator . It  does not matter  what the person  was doing , what they looked like or the  place where it happened . It is a  crime and should always be looked at  it  as such ! Women  up to the ages  of  82  have been  raped  and men are  also  raped . No one 'asks  for it '....


A problem  that is very common  is the  acceptance  and  willingness  for people to  look at pornography  . The statistics are  available and the proof is this : The longer  someone looks at porn  the  more violent they  have  the propensity  to come , to commit crimes , ruin their  careers , relationships  and family .
Pornography , people might argue  is not  ''that  bad '' as long as it does not affect my life .  The facts  are that  porn is not an enhancement  to  a marriage and it also has stats  that  it causes  a  woman  or man to be unable  to graft  a long lasting  and meaningful  relationship . It degrades  women  to body parts  and sends a  silent message  they are not  wanted for good characteristics  such a  kind  heart or  intelligent . Pornography is  fantasy  and many turn into violent  fantasies that  eventually harm and or or get  people murdered . Porn is a huge problem in the military  and  the facts remain  that this also  simply can not go unaddressed . Even on Stars and Stripes   there  are  'articles ' where  an adviser  gives men  'tips  '  to make their marriage  better by using types or porn  (I wonder  how the wives really   about that ) and various  things ...

People might laugh  and joke  at what Hugh  Grant  did when  he was caught  and arrested  for soliciting  a prostitute  in  Los  Angeles . But  you must  remember  that  that put a mark on his career  and the woman he picked up  was  a very addicted  drug addict and prostitution is never a  victimless crime . I have often wondered  how  Divine Brown is  doing today ......
Jerry  Sandusky  used pornography to  groom his victims as well as Luis Skip Reeville  did .
A pretty case  was Ted  Bundy .Another  was  Danny Rolling , and yet another  was  Arlene Warnos who was eventually  sentenced  to death  for murdering  johns  that she and her partner  picked up  while she worked as a prostitute .

I once  saw a post  on a friends  Facebook  page ( that  advocated a  former presidential  nominee and his wanting  to legalize  prostitution as part of his platform ) where he typed : ''I  can't see it  being so  wrong  if a man wants to  get a blow  job '.. I don't   think his  wife  would have seen it quite that  way  I remember thinking .

People  will  somethings forget  the  things that  you did  to them , but many will never  forget the way that  you  helped  them feel about themselves .The words  that you use  weather  good ,  kind , reckless or   genuine  ...do matter .

Mayor R.T. Rybak has been aware of the criminal nature of Backpage.com since his days in journalism.
“When I published the Twin Cities Reader in the 1990s, we turned down ads from Backpage.com because we refused to participate in the trafficking of women and children. It cost us a lot of money, but it was the right thing to do,” said Rybak. “Times have changed. Now, ending sex trafficking is a national priority, and Minneapolis Police and city attorneys are doing incredible work to fight it right here. I’m pleased that today, the Minneapolis City Council joined the fight by calling on Village Voice Media to shut down the adult section of BackPage.com.”

Several religious organizations, law enforcement officials and advocacy groups and have called for the shutdown of Backpage.com. The National Association of Attorneys General has also filed charges against a person who trafficked or attempted to traffic minors using Backpage.com in more than 50 instances in 22 states over three years. read the rest here this is great news

Maine insurance agent charged with promoting prostitution

"To be perfectly honest, I am shocked at the allegations," said a neighbor, state Sen. Christopher W. Rector, who has known Strong's family for years. "It's sad if the allegations are true."
Rector's children were friends with Strong's children. Rector said Strong has ties to the community and still lives in the house where he was raised.
Lee-Ann Upham, chairwoman of the Thomaston Board of Selectmen, said Strong served on the board for about five years in the 1990s.
Upham said Strong once did a sports talk show on local cable television. He also works as a baseball umpire, said Upham.
"I'm very surprised, as I'm sure everyone in town would be," she said of the charge. "He is the insurance agent for a lot of people in town."
Upham said she was puzzled by the alleged connection to Kennebunk.
"I just can't fathom where this is going," she said.

Police make arrests in alleged teen prostitution ring “The goal is to recover juveniles who are sucked into this so-called vacuum of prostitution, and to treat them as victims and not arrestees,” said Malden Police Lieutenant Marc Gatcomb, who helped coordinate the Malden operation. “A lot of these individuals are viewed as victims now, too, under human trafficking [laws].”
